This site is a tribute to David, now at rest, aged 83.
Cherished husband to Carolyn. Former Headteacher at St. Julian's international school, Portugal and previously Marple Ridge High School in Stockport. Recognised with an O.B.E. for his lead in the School Management Task Force. Known and loved by many across the world; a kind, fun and loving teacher, David will be sadly missed.

Thoughts
I have only learned today of Davids passing What a shock!! I still remember our days on the beaches in Spain, our long BBQ nights at the camp site. and the 'bloody good chicken' outdoor restaurant . You will remain with me for ever, as will the memories of happy, wonderful times that we shared so closely.

David was so full of vitality, energy, fun and laughter and such a strong presence.
You always knew when David was in the room. His opinions were usually large and animated - he was never one for sitting on the fence - but he was always a good listener too. So caring and kind and thoughtful and interested in you.
From Poynton to the Pyrenees and Portugal to Palau - such happy memories of times spent together. Such happy memories of a wonderful man. He is greatly missed by all of us.
