I only knew David in a professional capacity (trying, often in vain, to connect his various computers and devices together). I wasn't aware he was ill and am saddened by the news of his passing, he was a kind man and I'm sure he was an excellent and empathetic teacher. Sending condolences and best wishes to Carolyn too.
